Really disappointing meal and service. We booked for a group of 12 at 2pm Saturday. We were asked to provide our meal order the Thursday before which we did. The food took 1hr20 mins to come out and when it did it took 25 mins from the first plate being served until the last. 4 of the meals were wrong, there was no cutlery provided until we asked and some of the food was frozen! We had to ask several times for things and were pretty much  ignored. The manager was made aware of the issues and no point came to speak to us instead two young servers were left to do the apologising. We were told one chef got too drunk the night before and therefore they were short staffed in the kitchen. At the end of the meal we asked to speak to the manager and was told he was busy in the kitchen but upon leaving the restaurant he was just stood behind the bar with several other members of staff. Whilst we understand things happen regarding staff shortages the lack of organisation and service was appalling. The fact that it was too much for the manager to take 5 seconds and come and apologise says everything. Attached is a photo of my meal that was £22 and was supposed to be cauliflower steak in fresh parsley, coriander, olive oil, lemon juice and light dressing. Would avoid!!!

We celebrated the Civil Partnership of some very special friends. An amazing night at The Bridge. Stuart and his team went above and beyond. A group of us arrived early to decorate the ‘outdoor in’ marquee - Stuart had power washed the ground in prep and was on hand helping us hang our decorations and support in any way. A beautiful venue…the prosecco flowed, the buffet was delicious congrats to the chef and the views were to die for. Such a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend for a celebration of any kind…a drink, meal or even one of their mouth-watering roasts on a Sunday. See pic of the decorating team having a well- deserved glass of fizz awaiting the arrival of the guests of honour . Melt in the mouth cup cakes made by the gorgeous Emma.nWell done Bridge team - you did yourselves proud.

Thought we would give this local pub a try mid week lunch time felt a little unloved inside , could do with a make over .But very dog friendly and lovely staff . Food ok , Blue light card discount too .

We found this pub while strolling in Shoreham. Food came very quickly and fish and chips were very good. Overall I recommend if you would like good food in the area

A lovely location along the river and the staff were so friendly. They offer a great menu for anyone with coeliac disease gluten free, and go the extra mile to make sure there’s no cross contamination. They also offer a great discount on food for blue light members on certain days.
