We went to The Longshore for our Staff Christmas Meal 7 of us and the staff made us feel very welcome. The service was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meals. We all had 3 courses, the Paté was delicious, the Festive Burger was huge and so full of flavour! Everyone enjoyed the Turkey roast and commented it was excellent. All desserts were also fantastic, huge portion of Sticky Toffee Pudding!! Will definitely be back. Special mention to Chris & Gavin for their great service.
Absolutely amazing service , staff were brilliant and constantly checking everything was okay. We were a party of 23 for a 17 year old birthday all our food came out together and hot ,portions were huge . The male staff member even took some photos for us which is beyond normal customer service we receive in other places . Portions were huge well worth the cost even the childrens portions . The atmosphere and food combined meant the birthday was enjoyable.
Lovely meal - enjoyed an adhoc Sunday lunch which was tasty and well presented. Good service from Gavin. Many thanks.
Food was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. Missed the order ticket to start with and we had to pop to bar to check when no drinks appeared but after that fast and efficent. When dinner arrived fries had been put on one instead of chips but very quick to fix the error.
The Longshore is such a pleasant lovely pub. The food is always fresh and tastes delicious. Staff are friendly and Chris has been exceptional today. This place has become my favourite place to eat
