Had my twins birthday party here. The staff were amazing especially Kate and Bernie - really went above and beyond for us. Incredible outside space, which we had 2 bouncy castles and party sports games. We chose to use the conservatory so kids could have easy access to the fun and games outside. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend the Irish centre for any functions big or small. Thanks to the incredible staff for making my daughters birthday so special!!!
A great little place that can often be hired for small events. Even our local school hires the pitches for fun days. A hidden gem!
Beer flat website not updated phone never answered can't see it lasting long
Spent my NYE here with family and had a brilliant time, staff were so lovely, happy and helpful and made the night wonderful. Had such a blast and will definitely be going into the new year here again as me and all the family loved it. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the staff!
The Guinness was not great putting it politely It was my first time at new location and I thought it had no heart at all. Although the staff were nice enough it just felt flat and lacking the character that we were lucky enough to enjoy in Digbeth over the years.
Absolutely brilliant place. A long drive, but parking available. Seating outside to watch games or just sit and have a natter. Sheltered smoking area with a couple of benches close by for people less able to stand. Roomy, friendly people. Only draw back the small passage to the toilets. A little tight for a wheelchair, but the staff are very friendly and help where they can. Toilets themselves are very clean and there is a ramp to get into the centre itself. Interior spacious and clean. Nice decor as well. Hopefully our little group can make the venue a permanent meeting place.
Great night and the drinks were reasonably priced. Word of warning, when booking your taxi make sure your location is accurate as the GPS can pick up the flats next door sending the taxi to the wrong street.
Lovely staff. The building looks a little tired and could do with refreshing but it's always clean. Seems to be well used by groups/community.
Not quite the same being in King's heath! But I've been there twice now both times for the function room and can't really complain tbh! Some of the senior staffs attitude leaves alot to be desired ......
Meant to be a newly refurbed centre, but wallpaper hanging off walls. Horrible cheap decor and furniture The bitter isn't great. The cider was a bit flat and not cold enough Worst thing was the freezing cold. You don't go to a wedding reception to sit with your coat on! There doesn't seem to be anything for the community. No community groups /charities /clubs. Its really just a tired looking pub / party room hire venue Only positive thing I can say is the booze is cheap.
