The place is beautifully presented... its a real 'posh' place and you feel special when you walk through the door.... So why would you put a load of people in the bar and Restaurant that struggle to understand or speak much English. The exception was Alexandra from Romania who was excellent and her spoken English was great but her colleague's really let the place down. The burger was also fairly poor quality tasting very normal. Presentation of the burger was poor too. However Sea Bass was excellent. Overall a good place but management should not put people on the front of house that struggle with English in the heart of the British Cotswold hills...

The picture is of a "Standard room" . Not too sure what "Standard" means when it comes to hotel rooms, certainly wasn't expecting a single bed. The building is very old and therefore rather creaky and groany. There's not much in the way is sound proofing in a building of this age and as a result, some places in this hotel are noisier than others. At some stage, they must have suffered from theft as they are trying to sell almost everything in the bedroom and bathroom. It's a comfortable place with free parking both front and rear. All staff polite and attentive. Tea and coffee facilities in the room of good standard. Good selection at breakfast but the tables set for two are only just big enough for one. Overall, not bad.

Wonderful hotel, restaurant and pub in the Cotswolds. Relaxing bar and the staff were very friendly. Stopped for lunch and had an extremely tasty lunch. Would absolutely go back again.

Absolutely amazing. Fabulous hotel and food. Lovely room, clean, warm and comfortable. Definitely be staying here again. Made our Ruby wedding extra special.

Had the wrong drinks delivered. My husband is a diabetic so cannot have ordinary tonic. Didn't offer to change it. Food was average. Expected better, expensive and not particularly hot. Use to be excellent.
