Stayed at Middle Rose cottage in Blockley with my husband and son just after Easter. Blockley is a traditional Cotswold village just outside the town of Moreton-in-Marsh. It has a river running through it and plenty of great walks where kids can happily splash around in their wellies! The cottage is excellent and has everything you need for a cosy stay. The welcome hamper was a nice touch as was the basket full of wood for the burner. The cottage is decorated tastefully and to a high standard, featuring some of the lovely pieces for sale at the Cotswold Grey shop in Moreton, which we visited whilst there (and naturally spent a few ££ at - it would have been rude not to!) We were very comfortable during our stay. Highly recommend this lovely little bolthole!

Perfect place to stay in the centre of Moreton in Marsh with parking down a quiet road at the rear. Just had a weekend with my daughters. So well equipped and recently decorated. Very comfortable and quiet. Great village to stay in and so easy to visit surrounding villages and great walking. Local Supermarket as we discovered had a 'Cooks' food section in for eating in! Only comment was our apartment was dark however as we were out by day it did not matter and made the evenings very cosy but if you were spending time inside you may wish to book one of their lighter ones. Can not fault it, extremely helpful staff and much appreciated welcome pack. Definitely return.

Lovely, lovely store. We stopped in Moreton for a short break on our way to Ledbury and couldn't resist the wares! A jewel of an interiors shop, beautiful natural materials and textures, lovely glass and ceramics, furniture and a whole lot more. We bought an old trunk, with a turquoise, almost sea green patina, a glass carafe with stopper and matching chunky glasses with bubbles. Very kindly keeping the chest for us to collect on our return journey. Lovely staff too.
