Stayed there 21st April for my girlfriends birthday. The room was wonderful, the service was great and the food could not have been better. The whole experience made for a great weekend.

Lovely hotel, nice warm atmosphere and i would stay again if I returned to the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t really fault the he place. There was noisy plumbing at 6.40am and a plumber was there by 7.30am. Next morning not a peep. Very well managed in my opinion.Also the fried breakfast was lovely two days in a row, i have two days left and i am looking forward to the food. I will have to try the evening menu.

Loved it! Great food, attentive, friendly staff good selection of drinks - my only grumble is that it's 2hrs away :-)

Burgers and sandwiches were lovely, and the atmosphere cosy next to the log fire. A little pricey, but given the location I think that's too be expected.
