I’m always happy to visit the Maltings Kitchen when I return home from university! The food has been a favourite of mine for a long time now!

It’s a nice friendly, comfortable atmosphere with a great view out across onto the River Tweed!

The specials board is ever changing which means lots of different foods to try!
The soups are always really different and always sound delicious!!

I tend to have the haddock goujons, the fish of which is sourced locally! (I adore the coleslaw as well). With a homemade tartar and twice fried chips, it’s very tasty!

I really do love the homemade ice cream though. If you have room for pudding then definitely try it!

Arty, comfy,  cosy, great coffee. Nice cakes and sandwiches. Wonderful panoramic view over rooftops to River Tweed. We enjoy visiting.

Popped on on a Thursday for lunch. It was busy which is a good sign. Food was excellent and staff helpful.
