I ate here on a Tuesday lunchtime in October. Not busy but greeted by a friendly waitress called Sam who took my order for medium Cod and chips. Overall this was quite a good meal. The portions were generous. The batter was light and golden. The fish was fresh tasting and the chips were thick, crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. It was served with a salad. I had green tea to drink. My only slight criticism would be the food needed draining on paper before serving, but that shouldn't detract from it being a good meal. The restaurant was clean, and nice to see sea salt on the table.

It's nice to find a chip shop that always cooks great crispy chips! Always friendly staff and good prices.

Always an ample and high quality meal with super friendly service.

Go there quite a lot and it is always superb food. The chips are the best I have tasted for a long time and the fish is fresh. They also serve wine and beer.
