The evening I went the pub was full of English speaking locals with some good banter. A good variety of ales. A separate pool room that was being used. I salivated when I saw the ham, egg and chips being served.

We stopped for a meal before heading back home to Manchester. We had fantastic service and the food came out quick. The children's meals were excellent, all freshly prepared food, and great portion sizes. The Sunday dinner was fantastic, and Yorkshire puddings homemade. The special Slow cooked Beef was delicious. Puddings were yummy! We will be stopping again that's for sure!

Decent food and super friendly staff. Had the fish pie which was delish. Would defo go back. Thought 3 ribs as a rib starter was a little off especially as ribs as advertised as a rack. Otherwise....ace
