my name is Mike Jones and this is my culinary journey and how 'freckled Angel' came about:
I was born in Bangor, I attended primary and secondary school locally here in Menai Bridge, where I passed A-levels in maths and physics hoping of becoming a mechanical engineer. But my real passion was always with food. I was fortunate to be offered great job opportunities very early on.
I began work in places such as 'the straits' in menai bridge, 'the loft, bull' Beaumaris and 'portmeirion hotel' where I gained the best training in the area. This is when my passion for fresh quality food, presentation and unique cooking style developed.
I worked my way up to head chef by the age of 23 and now feel confident in my abilities, vision and passion to start my own business and offer my own unique style and personal service to my customers. My vision is to give my clients a top restaurant quality service in the comfort of their own home, to listen to their needs and preferences, to ensure they receive the most memorable personalised dining experience possible. details are extremely important. customer satisfaction, good service and excellent food quality is what I aim to provide, I will always go the extra mile! 'Freckled Angel Fine Catering' is named in memory of a very special person, who made me realise that life is too short, to always follow my dreams and give people great memories to treasure!
