Me and a group of friend went here for drinks and a meal. The food is OK, with nothing being exceptionally great about it. I ordered a Chicken BBQ melt and the meat was incredibly dry. In the words of Gordon Ramsey, it was literally like eating Ghandi's flip-flop. The environment is not too good, as it is very dark, with no air flow whatsoever, and a terrible smells of fried food and spilled ale. Tables are not cleaned regularly, meaning that your table or tables around yours will be sticky, full of dirty dishes and most likely spilled food. On the positive side, drink selection is really good and prices are very affordable.

Huge wetherspoons. The converted church part spills next door into a large dining area that admittedly has little ambience and the charm of a pre-school dorm. But the huge multi-tiered deck outside was fantastic especially on the day I went which was gorgeous. Overlooking a parking lot ita not the best view but the uni in the distance helps. Staff were friendly and beer cheap. Free refills on the coffee and you have have a winner.

Love the Black Bull 👍Good service, good food. My only concern was the tables could do with a good clean as they were a bit sticky 😬
