We had a birthday dinner here. We booked the table for Wednesday evening. It was cosy and quiet. The meals were gorgeous and the meat was well cooked and flavours were amazing. Overall it was good evening, with lovely staff and surroundings. The big car park is a few steps away.
Interior I loved the decor in this place, everything was inkeeping with the theme and the wall of cleavers was a touch too exciting for me! Service All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had unlimited fries with part of our meal and they were super quick to refill these. They even gave us a tip about dessert which saved us a bit of money. Food So I am going to focus on the one meal, my meal, the trough of meat to share. There was a bit of almost everything in this and it was all just gorgeous. Chicken Wings to die for, ribs that were almost earthy in their level of dusty smoke coating and the pig they came from must have been near elephant size there was so much meat on them, brisket that melted on touch, pulled pork that was packed with hearty piggy taste, pit beans which cannot be compared to any beans I have had before, meaty sausage wrapped on bacon was a nice little suprise when found near the bottom. Sweet potato AND normal fries unlimited refills of course and then corn and crispy onions just to top it all off. Honestly, this was one of the biggest and most flavour filled meals I have ever had! Price - who cares?! It wasn't cheap cheap but for the amount of meat the value is incredible! Overall 5 stars undoubtedly, this was just epic on all levels!
Seek out Hydeout! A hidden gem. Cool on a hot day. Able to accommodate us at short notice. And most importantly the food was SUPERB! A "hall of fame" burger for me and halal smoked chicken for the ladies. Good drinks selection too. The service was great. Can't believe more people aren't raving about Hydeout!
All 13 7 children & 6 adults of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Fantastic experience with great service in a timely manner and a menu with something for everyone, although it is obviously pretty heavily meat based. The 'mates plate', '3 cowboys burger' and 'dirty chilli' were the stand out choices from our party, but the ribs, chicken, mac n cheese, hot dogs and steak were all well received. If you have any room left for dessert then they are all pretty damn good, without being amazing.
Really funky Deep South themed bbq place. The interior is very quirky with loads of old American memorabilia and creates a good vibe. The food is delicious and there's a good selection of drinks and milkshakes. Well behaved dogs are allowed in which is good. My only criticisms are that there's not much fish on the menu thought there would be more considering Menai is right next to the sea and whilst the food is certainly delicious, it's a bit over priced. You also get charged for a shaker filled with 'magic dust' which is basically just mild cajun seasoning. Considering the prices in this place, I thought a seasoning like that would be available as standard on every table. Despite my criticisms, I would definitely recommend visiting this place.
Fantastic visit on Thurs 11th Aug. Booked a table and was greeted warmly at the bar. Sat in the corner and admired the deco. Really enjoyed the vibe of the place. Ordered our drinks and looked over the menu. Orders in and the food arrived surprisingly quickly. I had the mates plate to share and was absolutely blown away. Tender, flavourful brisket that melts in the mouth, juicy pulled pork, spicy beans, crispy shoestring onions, pigs in blankets, corn cobs and two types of Fries. My brother went for the 34oz steak which was collosal and cooked exactly how he requested. It looked delicious. My dad had the chilli which looked great and was a surprisingly large portion. Will definately make a point of visiting next time in down in N Wales. Parking: Large car park right next door pay and display during the day
What an amazing find! Wanted to try something different in the area that we'd not been too before. With Hydeout we were not disappointed. Service was great and the food rated really good. Best BBQ place I've been to for a long time. Would recommend
This place is AMAZING! The service is quick, attentive and the staff are very kind. The menu is fun, the food is DELICIOUS and the portion sizes are huge. They even have some vegetarian options which are great. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area and are wanting a fun, tasty meal.
Second time visiting here in and can really recommend it. If you want to sit inside make sure you book early though as it is very popular. I loved the food and the smoke flavour but my other half wasn't keen on the smoke flavour however enjoyed everything else best sweet potato fries she's had! so make sure you pick wisely if your not sure on smoked food. Staff were very friendly and definitely will be back
Found this place during our stay on the island. Had my birthday meal there food was amazing and service was really good. Will visit again during my next trip.
