My favourite place when I go to visit my son at Bangor university. Very friendly staff. Lovely varied menu. Super service. Well worth a visit. Beautiful homely pub.

I had a REALLY wonderful meal here recently. I always order a steak (I find that a steak and how it's cooked, shows if there's a professional chef in the kitchens,) I asked for mine to be cooked medium-rare. And that's exactly what I got! Beautifully pink right though, with a wonderful 'crust' around the exterior of the steak. FANTASTIC! Every one else also had fantastic food too! No complaints here! We ordered a portion of potato skins, along with 2 kinds of chicken wings for starters. There was so much! We decided just to put them in the middle of the table, and for everyone to just help themselves! One of us had the crispy duck, with the bourbon glaze along with the wraps! There was enough to feed two people!! Without a word of a lie FANTASTIC FOOD AND PLENTY OF IT! Also, I'd like to mention that the staff are very attentive to your needs! Making sure you have everything you need. And if everything is fine with your food order. (So many places these days don't give a hoot about customer service!) I can't wait to eat here again and again! Diolch!

Always been one of my favourite eateries in North Wales. Service was good, food was tasty and very good choice. Lovely place especially in summer with the view out over the Menai Strait

Outstanding food, amazing and friendly staff, great service and great decor!!!! Deffo recommend to everyone. Wide variety menu. Will definitely be attending again!!! Xxxxxxx
