Lovely location, free parking for customers you must enter reg details in restaurant, easy to order food online or at the bar. Staff are friendly. The food was delicious! Steaks came out on cast iron sizzling plate and was cooked to perfection. The beef ribs were succulent. Desserts were yummy too! This would have been a 5 star from me had it not been for the fact that there was a thick layer of dust on the ledge to the side of where we were sat.nnReally good value! Highly recommend.
Went to The Antelope for a charity music event raising money for Bangor Cathedral Foodbank. Lots of local performers put on a great day of entertainment.nnThere was a good space outside for the stage and plenty of seating and standing space for people watching. Also a good garden area for kids activities.nnFood was good and served quickly, with a good selection of drinks available at the bar.nnPlenty of parking at the back of the pub, which is free if you enter your registration at the terminal by the bar.
This place should be amazing given the views, including a great one of the bridge. Instead it's basically derelict and dirty, food looked sketchy, drinks range bang average and thought the photo of the grass being overgrown summed this place up where the views were amazing.
Great location to sit & admire the view of the straights or base to walk over the bridge! Kids pizza was good, tikka chicken sizzle platter was AMAZING! Tender, tasty, plenty of veggies & totally sizzling all the way to the table! Great value as kids eating was cheaper, £20 for adult main, kids main & 2 drinks! Nice friendly staff. Register your car inside for free parking!
The location is very good besides the Menai suspension bridge. It has an old world charm. It has a vibrant bar. There are limited vegan and vegetarian options.nThe best part are the views of the Menai strait and suspension bridge.
