Absolutely amazing food! I had the Pan Fried Scallops with garlic butter & Black pudding to start and the slow cooked Porcetta for my main comes with dauphinois potatoes & seasonal vegetables it was to die for. The staff cannot do enough for you & so attentive! I can’t wait to come back 5* Service all the way I can’t recommend enough.
Such a good night here. Lots of Christmassy touches and an organised Christmas menu and theme. Every table was clean and was laid with crackers. There are specials and desserts boards dotted around the pub so you can have a look while you are seated. The food was extremely well priced and delicious. Large portions so you will definitely be leaving here with a full stomach. Clean loo facilities. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Easy ordering and not long a wait for food.
We visited The Lion at Pagham for the first time as a party of 4. We all really enjoyed our experience. Both my wife & I had the Lemon Sole wrapped around smoked salmon in white wine sauce. Fantastic meal. Staff friendly and attentive. We will be going back.
Lovely pub with delicious meals. Friendly and efficient staff. You need to book if you want to eat there in the evening. A good choice to of vegetarian meals.
Just had the most Amazing “Braised Beef in Red Wine with or without Melted Stilton cheese. It was so mouthwatering and the portions are outstanding! Beautiful 15th century building
Stumbled across this pub when refused a table at another local pub and wow what a find. Very friendly welcoming, fantastic menu with brilliant service. Food was very good value for money, very tasty and good portions. Enjoyed it so much we have booked to go back.
Ok looking bar, don’t expect to get any decent beer, they also could do with sorting out their glass washer. Glass wasn’t very clean, top had layer of scum over it, judging by how much I was able to scratch from the surface it was a build up of multiple servings
Had a lovely evening with great food. This pub is all about the Specials Board, there's a wide variety of starters and mains and a good selection of Desserts but the main menu is mainly cottage. But it's very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.
Just had amazing food at this lovely pub. Great friendly staff and wonderful menu. Took friends who were really impressed. Had the salmon and rainbow trout from the specials board and the porcetta and the lasagne. Could not fault any of it. Absolutely fantastic. Don't miss out on this great pub.
