Lovely welcome from when we entered, food order taken and drinks served to us. We went for the Full English and were not disappointed. It came out hot, perfectly cooked and was of good quality ingredients. Fee looked after us so well and made sure we had everything we needed.. Will continue to be a return customer. Great staff, great food and great prices.
Not a busy weekend but a Tuesday afternoon. Toilets wrecked, someone must have noticed in the morning surely?? Outside is a mess, tables left with food to encourage the seagull frenzy. Absolutely no idea of what is acceptable here unfortunately. Its a run down dump!
Okay but nothing special, food needs presenting a whole lot better and whenever we go on a Sunday they always claim breakfast has finished and it's way before midday when I get there. The only benefit is I can use my blue light card and my disabled dad loves the chicken wings. Some staff are fab others not so much. The older man who serves food is really good. Toilets are vile and need some money spent on them
It is what it is. Very cheap, huge portions of food and friendly staff. Order at the bar. Menu is that of a chain pub, which isn't my preference, but if that's the sort of thing you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. Family friendly. Big car park. The toilets are in need of unblocking and renovation.
Had a wonderful meal on Thursday evening with my family. The pub in general was pretty busy but our waitress Maddie was very welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere and the staff in the pub made us all want to come again soon!
We come here most weekends for the breakfast burrito and it is amazing! The staff are friendly and helpful, and I he girls behind the bar Fin I think, and not sure on other name remember us every time and what we’re ordering. Highly recommend.
Very lovely people, we use the app to order and pay this was very easy and straight forward to do. However we didn’t realise that they was still on the breakfast menu, as a one off the chef cooked the food we order and it was delicious. They had a offer on for Tuesday £££. Good and fast service. Definitely a place to go back to
Staff were friendly but the food was awful. I don’t expect miracles from a chain pub but it was terrible. The table had not been cleaned when we sat down. Most of the meals were cold and several components were overcooked to the point of inedible. Also, the only reason this got chosen by one of our group was the child friendly focus of this chain, yet the playground was cordoned off and looked as if it had been so for some time. If this place gets suggested again when we are in the area, we’ll pass or go and not eat.
Firstly the service here was fine. Pleasant enough and checked we were okay. However the food was poor. Had it not been for the fact we used Tesco deals I would have complained, so just let it ride. Had the cauliflower wings which in every other place I've had they come out covered in a nice crispy crumb coating and have a bit of bite. What was served up was just a dish of slop, barely any coating and was just mush. Could only manage 2 pieces and had the rest taken away. Wife had the Mexican enchiladas which had been microwaved to death and were chewy and not that great. Meant to come with salad but they had no salad to offer so went without and no alternative made. I had the no chicken goujons, hard to describe really other than a mushy log of something! We still have another £20 in vouchers to use but based on this visit will probably not bother. Maybe get 6 portions of chips and go feed the seagulls instead. Maybe this was just a bad visit but have little hope of it being any better. Sorry
We were a party if 8. All our food turned up together and all our meals were good. A little slow with food turning up but there was 8 of us. We would definitely go there again.
