Such a lovely roast dinner!!! Portions are very big, especially for meat eaters some of our party could not finish it!! Staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, we were a party of 8 and they were very accommodating! Lovely Sunday roast and very old traditional pub we loved it here! Would be lovely place to stop after a walk or bike ride, outdoor setting it picturesque!
So surprised to find a brew pub in such a idyllic location. Great Real Ales in traditional styles. Although not on the menu, they made me a super cheese ploughman's which I followed with a nice creme brulee.
Staying near by, we popped in after Googling pubs in the area. Staff very friendly. Ordered our meals. Huge portions, lovely food. Only thing to spoil our meal was a table of loud builders using very 'colourful' language for all to hear.
Beautiful friendly pub with great food. My wife and I visited my parents who live in Oving. The owners were kind enough to give us three lovely glasses to take back home to America Florida. We will treasure them! Thank you! Wells Family.
Went to The Gribble for lunch while my van was being worked on at Specialist Motorhome and was very impressed. The staff were nice, the food was lovely and the beer garden great, especially as the sun was out! I had mackerel with a salad and my wife had nicoise salad which was actually a proper tuna steak. Delicious. I wasn't hungry enough to try a full main as the meals I saw come out were huge but we are due another visit so will certainly push the boat out next time.
Beautiful country pub with its own brewery on site. The food was delicious and excellent customer service, an enjoyable experience and well worth a visit.
Staff were great, nice and welcoming. The range of ales and other drinks was varied and a nice complement to the surroundings. The food coming out of the kitchen looked great, will be coming back to try some of the roasts and burgers on offer.
Popped in this afternoon for a pint of real ale which was awesome and something to eat. The bar staff and locals made us feel very welcome and made us feel at home. The food was great and so was the pub. If you're in the area definitely worth stopping by.
Lovely cosy, traditional British pub. Great value for money, great food, great service. Only let down is the deserts.
A beautiful pub the buildings are absolutely stunning. Think of an old English pub and this is what comes to mind. The staff were friendly and chatty but came across as lost sheep just wandering around; - Didn't know the specials, - Had to check soup of the day, - Asked for what beers and she didn't know.... The food was nice however the steak medium was well done, but otherwise it was a good night. I'd question going back again and I hope it was just an odd night we encountered as it was kinda busy.
