We only went in for dinner so can only comment on the food but it was absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely welcoming and seemed to make every person feel special. The atmosphere was great and considering it was a Wednesday evening this was impressive. They have live music once a month so will definitely go back for that at some point!
Service from the front of house staff is fantastic they really want you to have the best experience, attentive but not overly so. Food was delicious well cooked and plentiful. Looking forward to our next visit.
Did not stay or eat food, was just a coffee meet up. However the staff were great and the pub itself was traditional, also has a small heated outdoor seating area. Will return to try the foodService: 4/5

So we went here for Christmas Dinner. The food was amazing and plenty of it, a proper Christmas Dinner. The staff were polite and very efficient. And it was a really nice atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back in the new year.
I went last night, staff lovely, pub atmosphere cosy, very poor food, steak pie well over cooked had problems cutting it, side greens came up in a dish, looking like it had fallen off dish and just scooped up and plonk in dish. No point in complaining I would have had to wait longer for another meal, won't be going back,
Exploitative labour. Went for a trial here and was offered the job thereafter, owner said that they will give me a call when the rota was released. Never heard from them again. I’m sure it’s a fine place, but they need to be more courteous of those who come in and work unpaid for their benefit. Heard from others who had trials that similar things had also happened to them. Avoid if you’re looking for work!
We didn't use the rooms so cannot comment on it. We have ordered burgers with chips and dressing. Food arrived qu8ckly amd looked and tasted delicious. Nice uality,thick burger meat in a lovely bun. Chips big and done very well. Food delivered with smile. Drinks were a bit watery though but it didnt bother me. The only downsize was loads of drunk costumers,being loud and obnoxious.
We visited the pub on a Saturday afternoon and the majority of the food ordered was lovely. Pub was pleasant and staff friendly. Only comment we have is that the Steak and Kidney pie was over baked and dry and inedible.
Had a sunday roast very sub standard roast potatoes hard Yorkshire puddings overdone megre portions for the price you pay a dish of seasonal veg enough for 3 people barely not enough for the 5 of us. Maybe a off day but would not book again they let there self down with shoddy setvice and food.
