Very impressed with The Computer Doctor's customer service. Great communications throughout the whole process from setting up an appointment, to dropping off the broken laptop, through diagnosis, and then pick up. Answered any questions I had and provided recommendations and feedback regarding my computer. Definitely a repeat customer for all my computer needs. Fair price for exceptional service. Highly recommend!
One recent morning, I received the dreaded blue screen with the message, " The SMART hard disk check has detected an imminent failure." After panicking for a second, from my phone I started googling "computer repair near me", as I wanted to work with a local business. I read positive reviews regarding The Computer Doctor and was easily able to schedule an appointment. I dropped the PC off later afternoon on a Thursday, and less than 24 hours later, Steve called to say that it was fixed: new hard drive installed, all files, etc. restored, and systems updated. I was so relieved and pleased! Steve did an excellent job, in a very quick time frame, and did so at a very fair price!! He's knowledgeable, responsive, incredibly customer service focused, and NICE! If I could give The Computer Doctor 10 stars, I would do so without any hesitation! I was very impressed with everything about this business and highly recommend!

He explained all the changes when I picked it up and also helped me on the phone once I got it home. Definitely a repeat customer for all my computer needs.
1000% recommend The Computer Doctor. Steve was super nice and was able to retrieve data from my fritzed computer at a reasonable price and even saved it to a flash drive for me. Other stores were way more expensive or just wouldn't even attempt it. The Computer Doctor will be our go to for electronic repairs and service.
There are not enough words to express my feelings that the Computer Doctor Steve is awesome!!!! I have an 8 year old Toshiba Satellite laptop. It had Windows 8.1 which Microsoft won't be supporting as of January 2023. Two computer guys at Best Buy insisted there was no way that Windows 10 could be put onto such an old laptop. I didn't know how I was going to afford a new computer so decided to get an opinion from a place that repairs not sells computers. I googled and saw many great reviews for Computer Doctor, so I brought my laptop there. I am happy to report that my old Toshiba Satellite now has Windows 10 on it!! Steve ran diagnostics to confirm that all was good with my laptop then replaced the hard drive with an SSD and installed Windows 10. And he did all this in 3 days!! When I went to pick it up he spent quite a bit of time with me explaining what he did and showing me around the new desktop. And everything he did came to a total that was less than $200. Definitely better than $1000-$1500 for a brand new computer!! Steve even told me to just call him or stop by if I had any questions. Highly recommend the Computer Doctor to anyone who has any type of computer issue!!
Steve was nothing short of amazing in putting together my computer. I had built computers before and I like to think I’m fairly knowledgeable but I ran into some problems that nearly caused me to return all the parts. Steve identified the problem, sent me a list of what I can do to fix the problem, and he even did all of my cable management for me without charging me a dime. Before steve I took the computer to multiple Best Buy geek squads, as well as PC repair stores in Cranston and Warwick and out of 5 stores nobody could identify the issue or fix it. Steve did it in a timely manner and wasn’t going to charge me for it. Just a great guy and if I have any future problems with electronics I’ll be going back to the computer doctor.

Highly recommend! Took my laptop in because it was dreadfully slow and old. Owner was professional, quick and restored my computer to almost new! 5 stars!
Gave my Windows 10 desktop computer in order to recover deleted files on hard drive. On return of the computer not all files were recovered. Of files that were recovered, the overwhelming majority were corrupt. Of those that were corrupt, many were completely overwritten by other files. The technician did provide information on how to seek more specialized data recovery services, but I found their claims regarding the effectiveness and safety of their methods to be misleading and inaccurate. Seemingly useful information, highly dissatisfactory service.
Thde Computer Doc is exactly as stated. Not my first visit or the family, and we are all pleased with the fast/professional/friendly experience. Do not hesitate if your computer needs work.
