I’ve been with the practice for over 3 years now and I’ve always been able to get me or my son an appointment with ease. Staff are always fantastic and the doctors I’ve seen have been professional and caring, always reaching a solution. Bad reviews are easy to leave but you have 3 years of good experiences from me, thank you.
Doctors are fantastic when you get one, but receptionist is rude and empathy is not in her mindset. Patients can be in pain and she has an attitude problem. I.e. I got released from hospital leg in a cast as I broke my foot with a bag full of meds and syringes, so when I got home home after the hospital said I had to contact my GP as they would have my release/discharge notes to follow up with the meds etc. So like any normall human being, I wanted to know what these self injection kits/syringes were and also to know when I would get the staples out. Arrogant attitude receptionist said quote " We don't have any details of your hospital dishcarge", so I told her what ordeal I had just gone through Mrs attitude problem then said "unfortunately I canot see through a phone, so I cannot see your leg. Do you need an appointment, I can get the Doctor to ring you as he has a cancellation." If receptionists expect respect then treat patients with the respect and dignity they deserve -it works both ways! If you have no empathy or lack customer service and care receptionists, then get another job!
Advised by nurse to rebook an appointment for an asthma check up with a specific test, receptionist had zero idea what she was asking for, had to reiterate multiple times to make sure she booked it in for that and not a standard one. Appointment booked, piece of paper given with time and date. Book time off work, drive over.. it’s not for another two weeks and the same receptionist has the cheek to accuse me of coming on the wrong day, without a sorry as I even give her the same piece of paper she wrote in her handwriting. Waste of time, and not an apology in sight. 0 stars if I could for this one experience and staff member alone.
Registered at this practice on Friday and Ellie was super helpful in explaining the process, getting me on the system and welcoming me. Thank you for your kindness
If I could give 0 starts I would. Worst practice I have been. I take days off work as they advise they can fit my appointments in then tell me there are now no nurses available, so I have now waisted time off work for nothing
If I could, I would give zero stars; however, the workers employed there are a group of unskilled, undereducated people who have no medical or office qualifications.Imbeciles
Incompetent Locum GPs- all there good for is paying lip service. You can never get an appointment, ive tried every day for a week- today's excuse is the locums didn't turn up... how about run the practice like a normal surgery with permanent Gp. Theres No pre bookable appointments. Steer clear they will let your health deteriorate and instead of chasing up old referrals they just keep making new 1s that still never get sorted!!!! Doesn't even deserve 1 star.
GP reception staff and nurses are brilliant, always have time for you and try and resolve the problems if they can. One female doctor is an absolute joke!! This doctor is Dr Foster! All patients who were booking their appt at 8.00am when I did in person as struggle to get through on phone were told which doctor was on and everyone rolled their eyes and said no point turning up on time as she’s always an hour late. I managed to make an appt for 9.30am one morning to arrive at 9.15am to be told no doctor in as yet and she finally strolled in at 9:55am with no apology to the waiting room full of patients. Bring back the male doctor that is usually there who is on time, always polite and very helpful and has time for his patients.
Wow! Just read the reviews...I've had rubbish docs all my life..since moving to Kingsway I have even recommended it to family. The reception staff have always lovely..I've spoken to a few doctors there and they have all been very thorough with tests and referrals for me..I'd give more stars if it was possible. I'm very grateful to them
Would leave 0 stars if that was possible! The most shocking surgery I have ever known. Never seen the same doctor and never ever been seen on time! In the last month alone, my newborn baby and I were waiting for an hour and twenty minutes on one occasion and 65 minutes on another, the doctor didn't even apologise! Unbelievably rude and unhelpful reception staff!!
