All the staff is amazing especially Dr Hamid ,Dr shahid ,Nurse Joyce and all the receptionists.Thank you very much for your great services. One of the best surgeries in Rochdale.
I dun give even a single star to this practice. So poor behaviour of Receptionist. Recently Came from Pakistan and tried to register myself here and they demand alot of documents which was provided them they didn't give me any reference number for my application... and obviously wasn't giving appointment for me and my daughter.... After so many urges they give me appointment of a month later knowing that I am pregnant and I need urgent care .... but The Hell with the behaviour on the very day of appointment, 22 Nov 2023, my appointment was on 10 in the morning my hubby reached their 15 minutes earlier and due to pain and pregnancy issue I was stepping slowly and reached 7 minutes earlier and they cancelled not only my appointment but also my registration. I made alot of requests but they did not listen to me ... Why I paid IHS fee during my visa procedure just to suffer from health issue and poor cooperation. No doubt te receptionists were the worst. Obviously gonna complaint this matter through NHS. So poor and so disappointing. If it was all about Inserting information in the computer, why your staff took one month for the appointment . If they have to do so 10 minutes earlier before appointment. Dun you think that this is quite unfair and illogical. I waited whole month for the appointment. My medical condition was worse I couldn't run to the hospital in that condition. What was the need of cancelling my registration. Simply your staff can appoint me in coming week.
Giving a star is just to allow me write my review. It's is so annoying waiting for almost 2months just to get registered. The said date for the check up appointment eventually came, I got in 10 minutes late due to unforseen circumstance, and I'm told to go register with another GP because I can never be attended to again. That's pure rubbish! I blame myself for choosing to switch to them.
Mia and Kiran have always been helpful at reception/ phone calls. Never had a problem with this surgery
Used to be an excellent surgery, but now very poor. I have had high blood pressure for years, and they have never managed to prescribe medication to control it. Nor have I been referred to a specialist. My medication was recently changed, and no follow up from the surgery as to how it was making me feel I was having severe side effects. Called today to voice concern about my blood pressure still being to high only to be told to go to A+E!!!

Thank you so much to dr abid for always going above and beyond, especially for my son who has been poorly, massive thanks to Kiran and Mia for being so attentive professional and helpful with appointments and sign posting. These guys are working really hard to accommodate us despite the difficulties in the nhs so thank you so much. Keep up the good work.
Excellent service. Reception staff try their best to get us appointment. Donna practitioner nurse has always understood mine and my young kids needs and provided us with suitable treatment. I strongly recommend Dr Hamid surgery.
Not very happy with this practice. I was told that there was an abnormality with my blood and would need to be referred to a haematologist immediately. It's been 2 years and I haven't heard a word. The main nurse Donna is not helpful at all. I'd be better off asking Google for help. She told me I would need to pay over £1000 for a blood test obviously a lie. Definitely not very kind to people who do not speak English. Not very understanding. And the receptionist aren't very helpful either. They force you to tell your symptoms and then can't be bothered to consult the doctor for availabilities even when urgent!
Woke up early to try and get myself an emergency appointment due to severe tonsillitis. I started calling at 8am which is when the surgery is supposed to open, it's currently bordering 8.40 and the lines are still closed. If the receptionists are not going to be there on time your better off just changing opening hours instead of stressing people out smh Response: how would you have advised I contact the surgery?, when the only mode of contact is through the phone. plus this isn't the 1st time this has happened, maybe someone at the surgery should take responsibility instead of passing on the blame.
