Anyone giving a 5 star review is fake. This surgery has the most shocking phone service when it comes to making an appointment. The line is always busy, but if you go to the surgery, they never actually pick up the phone. How they haven't yet introduced a queue system on the phone is beyond me. It's been like this over 10 years and they still haven't changed it. Would give 0/5 if I could!
Extremely poor service. VERY annoying receptionists who are SO rude and ignorant! Ridiculous long wait time to make an appointment it just gets frustrating, all the receptionists do is turn you down. They need SERIOUS REPLACEMENT because they do not have customer service skills at all. Not the most helpful GPs. I really do intend to move surgeries. Your service has seriously gone downhill. All I’ve had is disappointment after disappointment and I’m not satisfied at all.
Absolutely appaling service with reception staff and previously with their female manager. I phoned in today to extend my sick note after losing my father suddenly at Christmas. Firstly, it took me numerous times to get through as the line kept cutting me off. I have then spoken to a receptionist who was initially ok but refused to let me speak and continued to speak over me and when asked to let me finish speaking, got her back up and became very very rude and defensive. And I was told today that their calls are not recorded for quality and training purposes which is why they continue to get away with disgraceful service. The receptionist said she would sort out my sick note for 2 weeks however I tried to explain to her that I needed it till the end of Feb 2023 due to my days in work and not just for 2 weeks. It was astonishing how many times she spoke over me and tried to put the phone down on me. I dont have time or mindset mentally or emotionally to be ringing in everyday and waiting and waiting to get through. I said to her can you just let me speak and stop talking over me which is very rude. I told her I've just lost my father and I need that sick note and can't be ringing in everyday. For a receptionist in a professional setting the service I received from her was absolutely atrocious. She was shouting down the line, showing absolutely no empathy but then did state that her mother had passed away too as if to say you're not the only one who has lost a loved one. Awful tone. Showed no compassion or empthay to me at all. Then she started to make up things that she had listened and had done what I had asked re the sick note however if this was the case I wouldn't have become so annoyed and emotional. I asked for a manager and she said the manager wasn't in until Monday, surprise surprise. Refused to let me speak to someone else. Then she went as far as saying they don't stand for abuse, I think she missed the point of me saying to her to let me finish speaking and to stop speaking over me. Its clear these girls receive no or very little training. There are one or two receptionist who are pleasant however a majority of them are unprofessional, rude, lack compassion and skills and show the surgery up and its doctors. The receptionist then hung up on me after she had thrown a massive tantrum at me. Professional? Not so much. I rang the surgery two weeks ago initially and asked for an extension on my sick note which the doctor said he would do yet had forgotten to do. Surprise. This is the service I then received today. Absolutely disgusting. Dr. Khan is a good understanding doctor and this is why I stay however I am having to re think now about moving surgery as I have had enough of this awful service. I am not one who uses the doctors constantly not even once a year and to then receive this service, im lost for words. Shocked. Saddned and appalled. And then because the receptionist had put the phone down on me and didnt take my email addres, I had to call back hours later to ask where my sick note email was? And low and behold they couldn't send it as they didn't have my email address. And yet no one in the surgery thought they would call me or check their system for it as previously it had been taken. I could do a better job there alone, myself than these employees. And to make matters worse the NHS board for reviews refused on two occasions to add my review with a pathetic response.
Pharmacy is terrible each month mine and my husbands prescription is late. Today I phone again and we have been without medication for two days now and they can't deliver for another day. Terrible absolutely terrible my husband is diabetic.
Honestly the service they provide at this surgery is SHOCKINGLY DISGUSTING it is near to impossible to get an appointment. I have been told several times to make an appointment in the morning and guess what can NEVER EVER get through…!
My day at croft shifa was good i have had my test done and i am just waiting to find out when i can have the operation for my eyes to be done
I wish I could give a 0 star but there's no option for that. When we go to hospital the receptionist tells us to make an appointment in the morning at 8 but when we call they don't even pick up. It keeps getting busy, worst worst worst phone service. I have been trying for appointment since 2 weeks now. Disgusting!
How do I give 0? These are the most incompetent pile of c***s I've ever come across. I started roaccutane treatment after having the blood tests here that my private dermatologist requested. Weeks after my actual blood test and getting the results and starting my treatment, these complete idiots ring to tell me that they missed one of the tests and that I need to book one in...AFTER I START treatment on a medication that can have severe side effects if everything is not monitored correctly. These idiots are the exact reason I chose to go private. They can't even follow the simple instructions that my doctor wrote down in a letter.
Never came across such a bad experience, been trying to get my 4 year old daughter an appointment for 3-4 weeks. When an appointment was made 2 weeks in advance, the receptionist claims it wasn’t actually made so on the day I was sat waiting around for the call! My poorly daughter has been ill & when going to 7 days access, they prescribe anti biotics and say get it checked more by your GP, well I would if they ever answered their phones !!! I have called every single morning from 8 am till 9am the call doesn’t even go through they now have a system were the call is automatically dropped and not put into a queue very appalled by this service to say my family have been with this GP for decades, way before the move from ballie street. Wouldn’t wish anyone to experience what we have been going through, what a horrible service ran in a country where the NHS is meant to be helping patients not turning them away!!!
Would not recommend absolutely terrible never pick up the phone is never give you an appointment at the doctors and don’t even care.
