This is a beautiful late 15th century grade II listed timber framed pub, so has bags of character and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and hearty portions. I had fish and chips and the twice cooked chips were the crispiest, fluffiest, most tasty chips I’ve ever had! After a day in the sunshine we sat inside and soaked up the atmosphere but there’s also a great beer garden outside which was still in the warm April sunshine. We’ll definitely be back!
A lovely old pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Very dog friendly as you can see. The menu behind the dog is worth a read! Food for people is good too. Really worth a visit for the Adnams' beers as well.
Woodbridge is lucky enough to have several really good pubs - proper pubs, with good beer, good atmosphere and good pub food. The King's Head is definitely a good pub with a friendly atmosphere. Do check opening times though as they can change a bit. Dog friendly in fact, "they love dogs"!.
Lovely pub. Can get very busy though. Nice food too. Well worth a visit. Very nice and cosy in the winter by the fire.
Lovely old pub in Woodbridge with an open fire. Excellent service and food. We had a steak and ale pie with mash, mushy peas and gravy. It was hot and totally delicious!. Would definitely recommend this pub
Able to sit in front of the log fire. Drinking mulled cider. We visited with a 20 month grand child & 5 adults.
