The Junction Bar and Restaurant:

Sophisticated yet inexpensive, stylish but informal modern and relaxing, The Junction Bar & Restaurant is situated on Sutton Junction, Newark Road at Sutton In Ashfield.
Serving delicious fresh food daily, whether for lunch with a colleague, or a romantic evening with your partner, a place to chat over a drink with friends or celebratory occasion, The Junction, with it's two separate bars, restaurant and a unique outdoor drinking and dining terrace has surely got something special for everyone.

The delicious Lunchtime menu (including an amazing £5.50 lunch menu) is served from 11.30am until 2.30pm - Monday to Saturday Not forgetting the famous Sunday Lunch that is presented from midday until 4pm every Sunday, with a main course from only £5.95 plus starters and desserts also availlable from £4.20

We offer an exciting, mouth watering Evening menu, plus Chef's Daily Specials from 5.00pm until 9.30pm Monday to Saturday. Our food is guaranteed to make dinner a winner, and our highly acclaimed chefs will tantalize your taste buds with a freshly prepared selection of culinary delights. Larger parties are welcome, and we even offer a 'create your own menu' facility for parties of 15 or more – with friendly and efficient staff who will even decorate your table for only £3.50!

Just got in from having lunch with the family and wow what an amazing lunch it was. Good size portions, tasty fresh food and polite friendly service. I would highly recommend.
Not been to this place in a while, as in my opinion the previous owners had let it gain a somewhat poor reputation for the meals. New owners in place and what a transformation. Had Sunday lunch with the wife. Lovely, lovely dinner. Everything tasted as it should. Meat cooked to perfection and lots of it. Great service and presentation. Will definitely be going back. Just a shame there was a family from hell with screaming banshees in tow.
Took my partner & kids today for a meal, it was AMAZING food, me & my partner had full three courses & was extremely satisfied. Kids meals were bigger than expected but kids were happy with it My daughter is already asking when we are going back again Very chilled & friendly atmosphere within. Staff are very helpful, polite & friendly. Would highly recommend
I've visited here with my wife and son today 24/08/22 me and my son have steak and ale pie and it was delicious he had mash with his and I had double cooked chips with peas and gravy I couldn't fault any of it. my wife had cheese pie and she loved hers too. We were then surprised to learn that the puddings are free on a Wednesday when a main is ordered so had to try the sticky toffee pudding. I wasn't disappoint it was beautiful only problem was walking out after being stuffed full. we will definitely be visiting again well worth the price. And very well presented the waitress was also very friendly and very helpful asking are you having a pudding they're free on a Wednesday lol.
Not been since before lockdown, the last meal here wasn't very good. Went a week ago and was very impressed. New management and what a big difference. The decor is much improved and the food was excellent with very good portions. Will definitely be going again soon.
We had a lovely Saturday evening meal. The menu had a wide variety of delicious dishes at reasonable prices, the food was excellent, freshly cooked and served by friendly attentive staff. We will definitely return.
Well been to the Junction tonight with ex work colleagues. We all had something different and we were all exceptionally happy with our meals. Well done chef. We are planning our next evening out there. Staff amazing as always. Fab-u-lous xx
Visited The Junction this evening for a midweek treat. The food was outstanding- the two young guys managing the bar and serving tables were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. A lovely relaxed atmosphere thoroughly recommend.
It's hard to leave a review without being unconsciously bias, we were huge fans of the junction when run by Jono and the team. We called in this afternoon for a spot of lunch, I couldn't decide what to have so opted for a selection of starters... the garlic mushrooms were amazing but I found the deep fried brie very greasy unfortunately. My husband had the blade of beef and he enjoyed it, especially the large portion of beef! Wasn't a big selection for the children to pick from though. Whilst the meals were OK, I didnt feel they reflected the price of £82. The staff were very pleasant and nothing seemed too much trouble, the gentleman working today was lovely and welcoming- a credit to the team!! Unfortunately, we went in with the high standards we have always recieved over the years. Hopefully they continue to grow and flourish.
Well what can I say, yet again! The food, the quality of the food, the portion size and presentation an absolute 10 +out of 10. They staff are so friendly, cannot do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble, we asked for an adapted meal due to dietry needs and they went above and beyond to make it special for us . The place is spotless, lovely relaxed atmosphere and We will 100% be back again soon, May I add there was a party of 19 of us..all the starters came together so we could enjoy our starters together and then The mains came together afterwards with a nice little break between. perfectly timed xx thank you for making my 40th so special
