Very welcoming, lovely food, great quiz night. All social distancing measures in place. Very enjoyable evening. We'll be back!

Wasn't impressed. I ordered topside beef roast dinner. Roast potatoes burnt Yorkshire pudding Black. Like chewing on charcoal. Won't be going back. Staff were miserable and waited a while before the disappointment meal showed. Kids roast dinner the same he didn't touch it. Waste of money.

Food and staff spot on and it was nice to see my friend Steven aka upside down head hes a great addition to a great run pub ,well done all great steak pie

Not open at 11am as Google suggests, rang 7 tines with no answer up until 11:50 waste of journey

Absolutely loved it here. Lived in Thornton 10 years and my first visit. Well I've missed out, found my new local great, friendly service and amazing food

The food is nice and the drinks but I think  the pies could be a bit better. Service is fantastic and lovely family run place. I love the open fire!
