The absolute best and only pub you'll ever need for the range of beers and other drinks, the food which is tasty, wholesome, unpretentious and cheap and brilliant, attentive and skilled bar staff who are friendly and treat customers as if they are valued. A win, win, win, win situation! Keep up the good work! X
Nostalgic trip back to an old friend. Love this place and happy to see it open. Staff brilliant and great beer
Really nice place to enjoy a good ale or cider with wonderful people around you, keeping the safe distance. Still better if it is not raining to stay on the garden or beside the fire during cold weather.
Brilliant! One of the Friendliest pubs in Bradford. Good selection of real ales, constantly changing which shows they are a popular selection. Good no-alcohol choices also, good cheap food - and a really friendly, experienced staff team. The people on the other side of the bar not too bad either!!
Fantastic pub. Moved to Market Deeping from Bradford in 1987. Recently met up with a group of old Grattan friends, 8th August 2018 in the Fighting Cock. Apart from Jim not being behind the bar the pub was just as I remembered. Hope it will not be another 30 years before I return again. Best beer pub in Bradford.
A proper old school real ale pub with great bowl of chilli and bread
Good old school pub that does exactly what it says on the tin. Usually call after work on a Friday. Always full of interesting characters which usually have me laughing at some point. Great staff too. Not many places like this still around which is a real shame.
I would love to give this pub 5 stars purely for the service offered by Sue and Paul. The beers are as good as they always were. Sadly the pub itself is old and tired and really needs some investment in it to attract all the locals back. Good luck you two let's hope the owners give you the pub you deserve.
One of the oldest pubs in the area and the best
Fantastic real ale pub. Great ever changing choice. One of the last pubs still going in the area. Must be doing something right. Basic down to earth. Don't expect luxury.
