Third visit for lunch last Saturday and just as impressed. The ladies serving did a brilliant job and were clearly run off their feet by adhering to the scamdemic rules. The food was great, prices very reasonable and great service.
Food was ok and price was fairly reasonable. Service was a bit slower than I'd have liked, but totally understandable with the covid restrictions that have to be imposed
It's a good meal, surroundings. ext. Local for us. It a regular routine visit when out shopping. I don't eat red meats, but I do enjoy the food, it's served well, and the staff are very good.
Beautiful venue, fantastic atmosphere and music. Shame about the staff. They did not look happy and did not seem to enjoy their job. Food was excellent.
The Yorkshire burritos like the rest of the food were amazing
Friendly staff, great food, and good prices for a City centre pub. Nice decor aswell. Just wish they had some different 'cask' beers on apart from the usuals.
Amazing transformation was ok before but now extended and tastefully renovated food is well above average for the price .I really admire that so much investment has been put in to a real city institution in a city that needs it so badly the owners should be supported
