The Jekyll and Hyde - The home of over 90 of the finest global gins

Located within the Colmore Business District, The Jekyll and Hyde offers something a little different when looking for a bar or restaurant.

An old boozer on Steelhouse Lane was taken over in 2009 by Bitters ‘n Twisted, the people already behind Birmingham venues Island and The Victoria. After a renovation, a new menu and a big dash of imagination The Jekyll & Hyde was born!

Offering a wide range of drinks, from the classic G&T to a cocktail menu of inventive concoctions.
Step outside and you’ll be in the Wonderland Courtyard – a sun filled (sometimes!) city centre hide away.

Living up to its name the venue has two personalities – Mr. Hyde’s Main Bar and Dr. Jekyll’s Gin Parlour!

Some of the best cocktails I have had in Birmingham. Very fun

Awesome cocktails, decor inside is themed well with cool portraits of dog/humans and an Alice in wonderland theme upstairs. The mad hatters tea i strongly recommend if you like a tea flavoured cocktail. It was awesome!

Pros. £3.80 for a pint of decent cider. Cons. £1.50 for a small bag of crisps.. Three staff behind bar, four customers.. two male staff having a chat and ignoring customers and leaving the barmaid working away on her own. Weird and lazy.

Definitely returning. Very trendy, cozy, nice atmosphere and decor + the staff definitely very much invested in this venue. 'Unfortunately' the very first cocktail we tried was way too delicious to try anything else... So can't say how the rest of the menu is. 

Great little bar. Friendly staff and a good selection of cocktails. Prices were reasonable and there's plenty of space for larger groups at the back.

Cocktails were fab. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The covered "outdoor" garden is beautifully painted with some nice private corners to chill out.

Set in a basement, it has fantastic drinks, live music and great bar food.

Lovely establishment. Great drinks and very up market
