My 9-month-old daughter was sick with diarrhea and vomiting, and the surgery scheduled her appointment for the morning. Despite this, the doctor didn't see her until 05:50 PM, even though our appointment was at 02:20 PM. This kind of delay happens every time we visit. When I complain, they either blame a system crash or say the doctor arrived late. This has been the worst experience we've had with any surgery.

I’ve always received good care for this practice but feel let down over the past 12 months was told I was referred to cardiology and wasn’t, was then referred but never got to spoke to cardiologist. Was shouted out by a doctor over the phone, that still causes me distress today, finally feel like I’m been listened to with Dr Khan and been re referred to cardiology, but the the last 12 have cause me more distress than good. Will always book my appointment for the poolway medical centre now

I had an injury im trying to book an appointment from one week to change my dressing and To show Dr my wound and they keep saying go to A&E we dont have any appointments. This is th third time they doing it.

We can’t all be wrong or making this up. This has to  the worst GP Surgery on this entire planet, Apart from a few members of staff there, they are rude, obnoxious and incompetent. It makes no sense trying to complain to The Manager, Akash, he’s even more incompetent than them and clearly has personal issues, which he brings to work. When you try to converse with him, he constantly calls your name, in order to suppress you from speaking and control where the conversation goes & if you’re trying to explain how rude, disgusting & incompetent some of the staff are, he dismisses you and sticks up for them because most of them are his family & friends. That use to  one of the best GP  practices in Birmingham, especially when Dr Brown, Sangria & Saddiq was there. Now, like our mom, your life may be at risk. They gave her 90yrs old, a blister pack, so that she can self medicate 3 times a day. Only when we saw my mother and looked at what she was doing, did we realise she had been taking her night time medication, 3 times a day & none of the morning or afternoon. Even after two weeks of asking what we should do, we still have no answer and our mother is still at risk. Because her blood pressure was still very high, they increased her medication, not taking into account the fact that she has been taking it wrong, for several months. When we tried to explain this to them and raise our concerns, they started attacking us and speaking to us like we’re the problem, dumb or incompetent. I am disgusted that they are given a licence to practice but when you look at the ratings and reviews, you can see why so many people are having a problem. I am seriously concerned about this practice and will be raising my concerns with The QCC, while asking them to listen to how apparently, the only male receptionist there, what an achievement, gets to scream & shout at patients, mainly women & tell them it’s 6:27pm and he wants to go home and the fact that he’s already told you something  6 times. This male receptionist, who brags about the fact that he is the only male receptionist, so he’s not going to give you his name but if you want to complain about him you can, just sits there in the corner, all day, every day, doing nothing. He gets paid for being rude. He’s been there since God/Allah, made morning. He’s hardly Security, in fact, he looks as if he needs securing. God/Allah help you if you have dementia. He’ll shout at you and tell you he’s already told you 6 times. I’d like to hear him talk to one of my brothers the way he speaks to my daughter, myself or my mom. How is it that people who are suppose to be helpful & support you, get to scream & shout at you and dismiss your point because they are male and you are female or because you don’t count because you’re not of the same race? Disgusting behaviour, disgusting practice, they need shutting down.

I’ve had a reasonable experience at this practice for my blood with test Nadia khan my appointment was on time and she explained what the doctor has instructed and why so very happy today with the practice

The front desk officers are very rude, take cash payments but no printed receipts for that and write a receipt on white paper with sign but no stamp, the check ups starts much later than appointment time alloted to each patient. The doctors don’t refer to other GP in the practice for a medical case but will keep on telling you just book another appointment with other GP, also the GP don’t write your complete medical history on the report and just send you with pain killers for 4 weeks even I was involved in road traffic accident with heavy body pains, should work on them and follow best health practices as advised by NHS

I had a blood sample taken at the Poolway Medical centre this morning. All staff were professional and efficient and Sophia Ahmed who took my bloods made sure the procedure was quick and painless and that i know when and how to check for the results. A good service.

Diabetic check with Nydia Khan the check went well. Nydia was very helpful with advise, when I told her that I had Pedicure and my toes hurt.

My 5 star review is for sophia  nurse what a pleasure it is to be seen by her, not only is she confident in her job, sofia is so down to earth but what I personally have experienced is that she doesn’t talk down to you, she actually sits and looks at you whilst you’re discussing your problems, to me that shows she is listening and makes you feel like you are not wasting her time  unlike most of the staff at the richmond practice!

I had an appointment with Dr. Osama Akhtar. He was very cooperative and kind. He explained everything to me and listened to me as well. I felt comfortable talking to him. In my opinion, he is the best doctor in this clinic. Also, nurse Afsha very respectful and kind, Thank you for this experience.
