All round great place, never tried the food but definitely will be when I return as the meals looked and smelt amazing. Edit!! Back down from Scotland again, this time we have been in for food and I can honestly say it didn't disappoint had the hunters chicken was cooked to perfection will be in again most of this week for our meals

We don't live in Sheffield, so Saturday was our first time here. Knew it was a Blades pub non match day so as we parked across the road. Thought we would go have a drink or two! Female waitress was very cheerful, pub lovely and warm and good atmosphere. Would defo come back! Food: 5/5
Excellent service, superb food and good beer. Located next to the interchange this pub is in a handy area and offers the most friendliest service I’ve ever come across. The gentleman with the pony tail was really nice and sorry I don’t know if you were the chef or the manager! kept us up to date with the food and checked in service, Amal details but it matters and makes a lot of difference. There was a strange chap playing a guitar who was soon put in his place this was dealt with firmly yet professionally and in a good way. The management even apologising for something that was in no way, shape or form their fault. Only regret was not being able to finish the food! It was lovely though.
Surprisingly good pub. We stopped in on a stag do as we passed it on the way to our hotel. Was expecting a bit of a rough pub, but the staff were excellent, beer was good and no problems with anyone inside. We called in a couple more times during the weekend
Got absolutely stranded in Sheffield due to trains. Teri and Mark who were on shift were so warm welcoming, friendly and accommodating if I’m ever in Sheffield I will definitely be back next timeFood: 5/5
Might not be the most glamorous of venues but top landlord and team. Always come here before we go for a rave - didn’t get guys name but Scottish guy always friendly and helpful and talks to all the customers making them feel welcome. Saw the guy helping a disabled man in and taking time to bring him in and they always open to just let people come in from the cold. Top place top man !
What a super pub this is or first time and was made to feel very welcome from the barmaid. And the owner plus the cutest dog lol .. the food was outstanding and the prices where spot on ..Food: 5/5
Stopped in for some food before seeing my partner off on a coach. Friendly staff and genuinely much better burgers than we've had in many more expensive places. Kid-friendliness: There was a family with a baby in the pub and honestly he was having the time of his life watching the sports
Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime with company. Ordered food and manager came out to say there would be a slight delay. This wasn't a problem & it made a change to be informed far better than sitting wondering where food was. When it came food was excellent. Had Fish & Chips and my wife had the Scampi. Both were great as was the size of the fish. It was all cooked freshly with the batter for the fish made fresh in the kitchen. Friendly atmosphere but surprised more people don't go for the food. Overall would highly recommend.
