First time I had been there in more than twenty years, and it hasn't changed. Still the same pleasant Forest pub. Friendly people, good value for money (a couple of ham egg and chips fed two people and a hungry dog!) I'll definitely be going back soon.

Lovely country pub. Ideal stop after a walk on the New Forest. Dog friendly. Open fires. Friendly staff. Good food. And they're now doing tapas - lots of reasonably priced dishes of tasty food. So you can have lots of different things to eat while you have a pint of Ringwood (Razorback or Boondoggle on draft). Lovely atmosphere and definitely recommended!

Great pub really friendly staff and lunch was very tasty and filling. A nice surprise was a very well made salad with a lot of tasty ingredients. Here is also excellent and they often have unusual beers on tap always very good.

Dog friendly pub that made for a good stopping point during a hike. Enjoyed the ham ploughmans lunch and ale.
