I've been to have a Sunday roast a couple of times and I absolutely love it. Very reasonable prices for a very generous portion of lovely home made food. This is seriously the only pub roast to ever rival my mum's. It comes with leek in cheese sauce and seasonal vegetables which are always cooked perfectly - never soft and mushy. Cannot rate highly enough.

The best Home-cooked Vegetarian food in Fordingbridge! I was pleasantly surprised that the place was fairly quiet on a NYE afternoon. We were served quickly with the most delicious food, beautifully presented. Drinks are from the well stocked bar. The seating is very comfortable and candles on the table along with flames in the fireplace made for a cosy atmosphere. There are quirky touches to the decor which make it feel less like your great aunt's sitting room and of course the art work is interesting. We were able to increase our knowledge of British birds while waiting for food to arrive. There are books scattered around on windowsills and in nooks and crannies. I am looking forward to checking out the quiz night on Thursdays so will be making this my 'go to' place for casual family dining in my local area.
