Had a lovely meal in a comfortable and friendly restaurant with great service. It was a meal out with friends for my retirement from work. Couldn't have picked a better place. Will be recommending it to others. Thank you for a lovely evening. One to remember.

The food is really excellent; the hosts are alternative and willing to chat and explain their dishes. The ambiance is quiet and one can talk to companions without shouting,a rare pleasure these days.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay there is simply no reason not to stay here. Lovely rooms, amazing gardens and friendly owners. I didn't arrive in time for dinner but will try the food on my next visit

Beautiful country restaurant and hotel. My room was well appointed and spacious with a large and very comfortable bed. The restaurant is interesting and cosy with a open fire for those cold nights! The menu is varied and my food was delicious prepared by the renowned chef Mike Womersley. I must mention the wild mushrooms! A special thank you goes to all the staff and especially Mike's wife Jayne who made me very welcome and went beyond the call of duty in helping me sort out an issue with my car. I can highly recommend the Three Lions and can't wait to return.
