It would be 5 star if not for the very busy traffic over the bridge other than that the place is amazing with a fabulous view across the Avon to the recreation park with people paddling and canoeing along with ducks and Swan. Lovely service and very tasty dishes had by myself and partner at a reasonable price. It was half full so had quick service though can imagine this being very busy at holiday times. You would need to park in the main car park behind the coop or in the recreation park area as no parking at the restaurant.

Had an absolutely wonderful meal for my birthday today at The George. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and made a fuss of our dog. Food was AMAZING; best tempura prawns , soup and strawberry cheesecake to die for. Would really recommend.
What a wonder Christmas Day meal. The food was plentiful, service was attentive and nothing was too much trouble.. For a family of 17, I can honestly say, as a first experience eating out for Christmas lunch, it was a joy. Highly recommend. A big thank you to the ladies serving and their joyful delivery. And thank you for the bread so the children could feed the ducks. Those little extras make all the difference. 10/10.
Really really enjoyabke, I had passed this place so many times and thought it would be a poor quality tourist trap but it really is great.nnThe food we just had starters was amazing and plentiful, the service was really friendly and efficent.nnWe would definately go back!nnOh and I didn't even mention the lovely setting... great relaxing view as well!
