What a great difference the refurbishment has made.  It now feels fresh and welcoming.  New full length glass doors in the bar area bring in the light and warmth and there is a working fireplace making it feel so cosy.  They have made a great improvement to the feel and look definitely worth checking it out.

Went for breakfast this morning staff more interested in chatting to there friends and mucking around instead of clearing table. The new breakfast is a waste of time kids cooked was so small my 6 year old was still hungry. The amount they have for the all in is also a waste of time. My husband eggs where under cooked the rest burnt.

The new interior of the Horse and Groom is brilliant.....it is much brighter inside, due to the interior being opened up.
The salad station is great....and I like the idea of keeping the dressings and toppings separate.
The new plates give it a rustic feel, and as always....great service.

We went to the harvester as a family  to try the breakfast menu.unfortuantly not too good,our food was luke warm and my son's order was wrong.the cereal,pastrys and toast all good,but all we could hear during our time there was a waitress shouting "Lisa!!!"from  one end of the restaurant to the other.

All I can say  is we had cause to contact head office. And we are yet to receive a call back. If that's the on Going policy. Well.............
