Very helpful and handy to buy petrol plus a decent size shop and a handy ATM machine
Good for quick stop, if you a lorry driver there is only 6 parking spaces.
They try and keep the shelves stocked well and have a variety of options. At the tills there is a see through shield to protect both customers and staff from harm and you must wear a mask unless you're except. Excellent service
Lovely store, staff are great and the selection of food and drink is really good! Never had a problem and I visit probably twice a week at least :
The store layout is very good and modern Good range of stock Delicious own label products Not yet offering plastic free loose fruit and veg range I've experienced inconsistent service standards here unfortunately. Majority are good, however a minority pull the shopping experience down - hopefully this will improve
Great store, been going there for 4 years, fantastic effort keeping shelves stocked throughout Covid, the staff are always friendly and make customers feel welcome. What more could you ask for in these days of economic downturn and universal credit? Keep it co-op, keep the chariot charging !
My first time found it ok not stopped by someone with no id because i went the wrong way down a aisle and told the staff not to serve me it seems one eyed veteran's need to be extra vigilant.
There's never enough staff, long queues at lunchtime, lack of stock on shelves, never improves. Your customer experience will vary wildly, from some long-term staff you can expect a disinterested, miserable, unhelpful, sullen attitude that makes you feel as if you as a customer are just an annoyance to them to the best you can hope for is some everyday pleasantries almost cracking a smile...but not quite. Go to One Stop for a better customer experience all round
I get my groceries here now and again. Some of the staff are friendly but others don't want to be there. The prices are over the top but then you have to pay for convenience and the extra cost for living in such an area. There are lots of OAPs in this place so if you are in a rush you would be best to get a train to Hailsham and back and go in the Sainsburys.
The branch next to the station is so convenient for those bargain items that you forgot to get during the day. Or maybe a chilled bottle of something to enjoy with your partner at the end of the day. Or a welcome bunch of flowers to take home to say "I'm sorry......." or a "Thank you". We have all been there. Try the branch at the petrol station on the Polegate roundabout - even bigger
