First time vising here, very easy to find, plenty of parking. We weren't kept waiting around, we got seated straight away, drinks were kept topped up and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back again and will no doubt bring the dogs with us too
Friendly staff and delicious food. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity received. 2nd visit here and will definitely visit again.
Stopped here for dinner. It was fabulous. Welcoming staff, awesome food, best scampi ever. Highly recommend
Great Sunday Roast, duo of meats, roast potatoes, carrot / swede, medley of greens, red cabbage, stuffing, Yorkshire and homemade gravy, all washed down with a cracking pint of Guinness !!
Pub has plenty of parking. Entrance to the pub, seating area in bar and tables clean & tidy. Greeted at the door by staff member who said to find a seat & he would get someone to come over with a menu and take my order. He forgot to tell someone. Other people coming in much later were served straight away with drinks and menu. Managed to get a servers attention to place an order. By the time the server came over I had already made a decision on what I was going to ask for as I didnt want to wait again for them to come back for my order. No apology for having to wait but server said she wasn't told about me. Ordered Panna cotta and tea. Came in reasonable time. Decent cup of tea and panna cotta made perfectly with crisp caramel topping plus two tasty biscuits. Felt invisible to staff. Ordered another cup of tea. Waited ages again to get someone's attention and order the bill. Charged £6.20 for 2 teas which I feel is overpriced, had I been given a menu/price list when I sat down I would not have ordered the second tea. Disappointed with visit overall.
Nice place plenty of parking friendly staff and excellent service no long wait for food and it was busy. The food was generally of good quality and well cooked one of us did have beef that took a bit more chewing but she still enjoyed the meal. All in all a nice Sunday lunch and we will be calling in again
We came here yesterday again you just can't beat the Sunday roast Platter! Fantastic, warm, friendly, inviting pub. Staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, they're not intrusive and it's absolutely spotless too! 100%to The Hornsmill. We will be back
We've made several visits here. Food always excellent and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and attentive. Selection of real ales and a dog friendly bar if you just fancy a drink Vegetarian options: A good selection on menu Wheelchair accessibility: We don't require wheelchair access but I did notice entrance appears flat as seems the floor throughout the building
First time out for a date night meal for over a year and our first time trying the hornsmill. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff member. We did ask to be moved to a quieter place to start with as I'm very hard of hearing and struggle to understand what people are saying when its a busier night. she moved us with no problems. Very good service. Considering It was busy, we didnt have to wait long for food and drinks either. We absolutely loved that it's dog friendly too because we are massive animal lovers! All in all we had a great time and will be returning in the future! Thank you
Excellent food as usual. Roy and the team work extremely hard to please. Kat was our waitress who was very attentive and looked after us very well. All staff are polite and friendly. Fabulous everytime!!!!
