I really wish I thought about taking photos before we tucked in Amazing food myself and partner went in yesterday 3/6/22 with our dog i phoned first to check dogs where welcomed and they incourage dogs in . The gentleman and lady who greated us were so welcoming , made a fuss of luna , our table had menus on and a little plate of treats for luna which she also loved she also gives 5 stars . We had the pizza and burger. Both fabulous. The pizza was delicious i really hope you keep this on the menu . Also have to recommend the hand cut chips amazing.!!! We will definitely be back with family soon .thank you for great service and great food .see you again.
Excellent village pub in a lovely rural location yet ònly 5 minutes from Cheshire oaks. Lovely food, excellent beer and a lovely welcome from the staff
Can't comment on food as we only went for a drink. However it smelt good. Lovely location and the owners have certainly made positive improvements.Service: 4/5
BRILLIANT!!..Didn't know the area and came across this great looking pub with a great looking seating area outside..Went in to eat bearing in mind we'd already phoned a few other place, but nobody was interested, as there was 7 of us!!.Got a table straight away and we all ordered. The food & drink we had was great, and not overpriced. The guys who took are order for food & drinks were fantastic.!!.very helpful, polite & efficient. We all had a great time and we will definitely be back...
Turned up without booking. Found an available table to sit 8 people, asked staff member if they were still serving food.. she said yes... went to the bar all ordered drinks and sat at the table then to be told we couldn't sit there by another member of staff as we hadn't booked and we had a dog which wasn't allowed in that side of the pub. So went to the bar to ask if they were serving food outside, she said yes... something that should of been offered to us as an alternative to leaving after being seated already. Food came cold had to he reheated in the Microwave. Soup of the day was uneadable so asked to swap for a bowl of chips to be told ,NO that nobody else had complained about the soup that day bare in mind the soup starter was double the price of chips. Asked 2 members of staff for extra gravy was blatantly ignored and just walked past us. Awful service terrible customer service by the manager and staff . Staff looked fed up and unfriendly and more bothered about tucking into their roast than serving a table of 8 paying customers. The roast dinner itself was actually really nice just a shame about the staff.
Vistited here on Saturday evening after shopping in nearby Cheshire oaks. On arrival was greeted and seated promptly. Menus given and drinks order taken. Was pleasantly surprised with the many options on the menu. So we decided to order a few of the nibbles. Food was fantastic and not nibbles at all was expecting like tapas plates but was more than expected but great value. Will be returning you try the main courses. Vegetarian options: Great selection or veggie and vegan Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fish and chips caught the eye. As have family member who is coeliac
It was our first visit to the Bunbury Arms after COVID and felt that it was not as good as it has been in the past. The first thing we were told was that meals were only available if ordered before 19.45 , since our table was booked for 19.30 it was not a relaxed start. The main meals were good except for the curry which was said to be tasteless. The deserts were limited, 3 were sold out, which meant two out four of us did not have any. This is not a place to visit for a special experience as the menu was limited, one of the specials was also not available. I cannot recommend it and we will not be returning.
Great food good value, a stone's throw from blue planet and retail park, much better than the food on offer from the chain type restaurants. It took a while to arrive,15mins but well worth the wait. Portions generous also.Food: 5/5
We pre-booked for a table of 15 and had an excellent experience. We were well looked after without the service ever being intrusive, and the food and drink were both excellent. I would strongly recommend this delightful pub. Vegetarian options: Good solid vegetarian options.
