Story

The Hop Vine formerly ‘The Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was a main stopping off point for goods being transported to and fro on the old Turnpike road the ‘A59’. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travelers alike.

‘The Hop’ beckons a new era, a village pub which champions a strong community spirit.

So sit back relax and enjoy the fruits of the area.

As usual service excellent beer great and the food it's usual high standard. The steak and ale pie is the best I have ever had. Only down side is this pub is so popular you usually have to book well in advance, but well worth it.

Sunday lunch. Cracking pub with lovely features and atmosphere. Vast selection of always, beers, guns and wines. Food amazing. Quality fresh produce beautifully cooked and presented. Faultless

I love coming here to eat and drink. Great food, beers, wines and spirits. Extremely friendly staff and plenty of them! A shame other places can't replicate what the Hop Vine does so brilliantly.

A group of us went for a birthday meal.
The food is amazing and huge portions.
Friendly atmosphere and staff are friendly too.
