The Blue Mallard located at Burscough Wharf near Ormskirk, Lancashire; a unique, canalside development in the heart of Burscough town centre, is owned and run by Chris, a local lad who is passionate about great food and top-rate dining.

Such a great varied menu. Good beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. Staff very pleasant. Could not fault our visit today and will be back. Thank you .

It was empty when we were here so felt a bit barn like. Food was good and staff were lovely. A slight problem with one of our dishes was fixed with good grace and genuine effort. Puddings are blooming marvellous.

Wasn't very busy when we arrived but welcome was excellent along with the service. We were in a party of 5 and all said how they enjoyed the Steak's. It was steak night and the bill was more than reasonable. Will definitely be making another visit.

Great food and service, not always got everything on the menu though. Must be a good sign however as people must be buying a lot of it.
