Appearances can be deceptive. From the crossroads outside this place used to look half closed. Inside, however it is a hive of activity and is always busy when we turn up for a Sunday lunch. Staff always welcoming and never fail to find us a table. Great menu, but the carvery is one of the best you'll find anywhere and is reasonably priced, as are the drinks.

The staff are really friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. The carvery meat is cooked perfect and the portion sizes are GENEROUS. Really pleased with the food we had today. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

New salt and pepper ribs are amazing. Better than any Chinese I have been to. Credit to the chefs. Good work guys and keep the ribs coming.

Gorgeous carvery, good portions and all fresh produce from local farms. Roast potatoes where actual roast potatoes, not anemic bricks like some places. It's very busy on Sunday so book beforehand for large numbers. It's not in an easy to reach place, so driving is essential.

Cosy little pub with restaurant fab carvery does mushy peas and carrot and turnips beautiful food and the owners are lovely people !! :)
