Went out for a family meal of 6 of us. As our preferred local was shut for a refurb we decided to go the hayfield. We were not disappointed. Even though the pub was busy and we hadnt booked were where shown a table that was free. There was a good selection on the menu and even with a fussy 11 yr old we easily found something for him to order. There was a good selection of drinks at the bar as well. The food when it came was delicious and the prices were good as well. All in all we were very happy with the meal and will be using the hayfield again, though in future i think for a larger party we will book in advance.

Great place to eat or go for a drink. Can highly recommend the fish finger butty but all of the menu is lovely very reasonably priced.

We have yet to have a poorm meal at the hayfield we have been coming here just over a year or so, meals are always presented nicely and more importantly hot, staff are friendly and even today Sunday the pub was very busy as was the restaurant but they found us a table which was very much appreciated 😉

Came here for a family celebration. Nice pub, great food. Staff where really lovely. Good location.
