Popped in for lunch wondering whether we would get a table. The waitress was most helpful and squeezed us into a brilliant tucked-away corner. The place was full and very busy, but we got excellent service and we were served in a respectable time. The food was well presented and very tasty. The chef serving the carvery (Robbie) was first class offering the magic mix of service, banter and attention to detail. The jewel in the crown amongst the Hog's Lodge's staff is their waitress Alex.

Rang today at 1pm and was able to book a table for 1.30. The atmosphere in the pub waswgreat. Nice welcome by one of the many waitresses. The Carvery was super tasty and served by a very friendly chef who actually talked and smiled and interacted with the customers - top marks!! Food was great. Beef and gammon melted in your mouth and the vegetables were delicious, we especially loved the crispy roast potatoes. Well done everyone, we had a great lunch 😁

Brilliant pub. Not had such friendly service in an eatery in the UK before. From booking right through to being served from the carvery, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was good too and portions were generous.

I attend a Networking group at the Hampshire Hog. The breakfast is amazing and the staff very friendly. The food comes out hot and is very tasty. Very welcoming pub with a lovely atmosphere even at 8am in the morning.

One of my locals so I'm not going to knock it. The food is good, they serve HSB and they have a nice log fire in the winter time! The staff seem pretty attentive as well!
