Really good Town Pub with excellent food. Parking not great but does the job. Big building serving all the usual alcoholic beverages you would expect. Good selection of Beers, Lagers, Ciders, Spirits & Wines. More impressive is the food offering with a good menu featuring some locally sourced ingredients of good provenance. Nothing too exotic just a sensible treatment of classics. Service attentive. Toilets clean.

Had a meal here with friends.  Food lovely,  atmosphere good, staff lovely.  Stayed the night  nice room;  clean and bed lovely and comfortable. We had a good night's sleep and good breakfast in the morning.  Will definitely go again.

This is a very lovely village pub. The only reason I cannot rank this higher is that I've not really sampled it fully. But my hubby and I have had a couple of lovely beverages and enjoyed the garden and views, three springish days, this for us being our own long weekend

We moved to a bungalow in this area two years ago & have been going for drinks & lunch at the Crown inn which is so very good. The staff are also very friendly & give you a nice welcome Lorraine & Alan Brewster.

Needs a damn good dusting and deep clean in the bedrooms.
Downstairs is really cosy and the food is fab
