Went here for some food and was really happy with the whole experience. Food was absolutely delicious and a good sized portion for the price. They had Aspal cider on draught so that was an instant win for me and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pub itself is hidden away and is a little hidden gem. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a meal with the family or just a quick pint.
Had a bloody good dinner here my first in the UK!; the staff were awesome and the garden dining area was lovely on a summer’s evening. I’ll be back!

Absolutely delicious home cooked food. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in accommodating our party. Good choice of ales and great, friendly atmosphere. Thanks to Andy and the team for a lovely evening!
Visited recently for Christmas Dinner was quite disappointed we all had 2 potatoes each the gravy was watery and the roast potatoes were shrivelled up. We received the bill and for some reason a pint of madri was added that we didn't have but was rectified. The dessert was lovely though its a nice little pub the rest of the food looked lovely
Very welcoming pub with good food. Lots of it home made. More choice of vegetarian dishes and non alcoholic drinks would be good, otherwise no complaints.
6 family member,s had Sunday lunch. Wonderful food is served by just as wonderful landlord and staff. A real pleasure . Worth more stars than I can give.
Great venue, friendly helpful staff, great food and plenty of choice. Love visiting and always have piping hot delicious food.
Beautiful food, great selection, they cater for gluten free. Friendly staff great atmosphere. Do need to book well ahead for table.
