"The Greyhound is a popular pub on the outskirts of Ipswich town centre, opposite Christchurch Park and within walking distance of Ipswich Museum, the Wolsey Theatre and Portman Road. Our food boards change daily whilst offering a £6 weekday lunch, chilli and burgers on our bar menus. All food is cooked from fresh ingredients on the premises and offer a great selection of Adnams real ales, lagers, wines and soft drinks.There is a car park and beer garden at the back of the property."

Excellent food and service. This restaurant/pub is very lovely with an outdoors seating that is an ideal place to bring your dog. The customers don't mind it as many do bring their dogs and the restaurant provides a water bowl. The entire team of servers were very welcoming and friendly. They were simply impeccable. We ordered the lamb kofta and the chicken satay can't remember the exact name. Both were perfect on flavor and presentation. The prices were fair for this quality food and superb service.
This lovely pub was recommended to us for a great vegan roast. And we were not disappointed! We were craving some veg after being away for a couple of nights and having mainly junk food and this was hitting just the right spot. The vegan haggis is great with lots of said veggies, roasties and gravy. The extra red cabbage was heaven too. I can only say: yummy yummy YUMMY!!! Super friendly staff too and great garden in the sun. 10/10 all around.
Incredible food and service. Sunday roast was top notch with friendly servers and crowd. Must try for visitors especially. We were essentially turned away from a nearby establishment, but welcomed almost as regulars into the Greyhound.
Awesome food and lovely spot, beautiful garden seating and great “pub vibe” on the interior. Steak Pie was amazing and great selection of beers and other cocktails and wine selections. Perfect spot on a weekend afternoon.
Visited for Sunday roast on 22.8.2021. Arrived at 5:30pm. Plenty of seating inside and out although we did call ahead to reserve a table, and would still recommend that. Staff very polite and helpful. We had the roast beef. It was pleasant. Good value.

Fabulous greeting on arrival. We were quickly shown to a table and drink requests taken. The service is excellent here, with a great bunch of bar staff - really a pleasure to be served by them. The beer garden at the back is beautiful, lots of room and well maintained. We had toasted sandwiches which were excellent.
Amazing!! Good food, nice place and very kind staff!! We love it.
Really busy, table we were allocated was in a tiny alcove with a force 10 gale behind it. Left before ordering food and went somewhere else, as staff unable to move us to a warmer more comfortable table. Will try again in summer.
It's a wonderful 'local'. Food is some of the best. Friendly staff, like you have known them for years. And of course a fine pint!
