Nice village pub with friendly helpful staff. Busy so relax and enjoy a drink before sampling the excellent freshly cooked food. Children's portion was a decent size for a teenager - delicious chicken doujons. Main meal special beef goulash with wild rice was enough for two.
Service was excellent. Great menu. I was a little disappointed with the fish cakes, more potato than fish. Definitely heading back soon for one of the shared platters which looked and told tasted excellent.
Beautiful food, fantastic service, which is why we came back. Certainly will be visiting again. Very relaxing lunch.
Ate there twice last week during a cricket tour, both times the food was excellent and a cut above usual pub fare. Skate first time around was perfectly cooked while on the second visit my steak came with a high quality peppercorn sauce which I was happy to have paid the supplement for. The service was friendly too.
Had cold seafood platter, lovely, so much you just can't eat it all, would recommend. Lovely village setting pub.
2 for 1 Fish and Chips followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding and Lemon Chiffon GF Light, zesty lemon cream on a biscuit base.  Served with mango sorbet. Excellent
Really good restaurant, helpful and welcoming staffs. Good price I'd say - average £30 per person for 3 course meal. Good choice of menu too. Recommend for meal with family or couples.
Pleasant staff, limited menu, decent food, the sea bass was really tasty and well cooked the sausage and mash was ok but the gravy was watery and all under seasoned.
