Had a meal at the Crown with family mid way home on a random weekday evening. Surprised to see how busy it was. This isn't one of the large Hungry Horse pubs, but has plenty of parking out the back, bar well stocked with drinks and service was quick. As with all Hungry Horse pubs, there is a massive list of options on the menu - if anything perhaps too much choice! We only had a main meal, and that was nice tasting and well presented, and we utilised one of their offers which meant that drinks and meals for 2 people came in at about twenty quid. Based on our experience I would stop here again for a meal if in area, and wouldn't hesitate to bring kids if they was with us as well as seemed fairly child friendly.
Had a lovely meal here. Eventhough the pub was quite busy, we got our food quickly. Food was great and very affordable.
They were very busy but all the staff were very friendly and polite. My friend loved her Steak and Ale Pie and even though I order from their Kids menu they are always fine with me doing that. I really enjoy coming here with my friends.
I often go to The Crown on Friday or Saturday evenings, the atmosphere is great and the staff are always friendly and welcoming with great service. I also go most weeks on a Sunday with my boyfriends family and the food is lovely and quick service with a warm welcome from staff each time. Over all I would recommend the crown for its hospitality and delicious food!
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They, unfortunately, can't offer any milk alternative so if you are happy to buy milk from the shop next door, they are happy to prepare your drink using that. We were a table of 9, a mixture of adults and children. Some of the food was rather overcooked, and when we asked for the food to be replaced we had nearly finished before the missing items arrived. We had asked a few times but it never came.
Drove into their nice big car park, found a comfy bench table inside. I went to bar to order breakfast for two, quick friendly service. The food was very good and extremely reasonable priced! Will definitely be coming back!

9 of us popped in for a breakfast this morning and it was fantastic. Plenty of options in respect of menu choice. Cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. We will be returning soon. Many thanks
