A classic English pub in the glorious countryside that has over the years extended to become a gastro restaurant, but keeping the original features that make it. We were there most recently on a Sunday afternoon which is busy (booking is a must) with a large table of ten. The service was immaculate, food came in good time and was very good. The roast was great and steak looked wonderful. The kids food came with the starters, which was a lovely touch and they appreciated it. The green man is a great place to go for a relaxing afternoon and before you go there are some really nice walks in the countryside.

Excellent service from everyone.Relaxed , warm & comfortable setting , a perfect balance of old and new.Varied enticing menu to stimulate appetite. Delicious food.

They will tailor the venue to your tastes ie: turn down the music, turn up the temperature. Menu has something for everyone. Tiny wee bit pretentious considering it is the village pub.
