Spent the whole day in Margate, I've not been in 20 years. Walked past The Greedy Pig, thought the name suited me down to a T. Spotted someone have the cheese toastie so decided to give it a try. The service was friendly and polite, we sat in the sun, it was lovely. We also ordered the vegan hotdog and the Hawaiian burger. Everything was great. Would definitely go again. Toilets were up steep stairs so be careful.
Had a vegan milkshake..nice but would prefer a thicker shake please: friendly staff. Very quirky place. Just what you need for cheering up!
Really nice place to go for a lunch or just a coffee ! We've liked it so much, we went twice in two days I couldn't recommend enough the pecan pie that was the real highlight of my weekend ! The Cuban Sandwich and the Beef Brisket Brioche are both an excellent choice
Great casual lunch spot for a day in Margate. Tasty food and efficient staff. With a bit more passion or enthusiasm, this place would have a perfect atmosphere.
Amazing food! Top service. Had the breakfast bun and the guacamole & bacon, and we liked soo much that we ordered another one to share even with a full stomach it’s a must go place when in Margate!
I've been to the Greedy Cow twice, and both times, staff have been impeccable with service, super friendly, and all-around ace. The food is just incredible, and if I could eat here every day, I would. Also, it just has such a nice, cosy atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Honestly, the veggie hot dog is the best thing I've ever put in my mouth.
Lovely place, nice feel to it. The food was lovely with the perfect cheese toasty. Drinks very good too. I wasn’t impressed with the look of my chocolate milkshake when I first got it but it turned out really good! The owner is nice and very friendly. If I visit Margate again, I will definitely stop there again.
Just come from here as we met up with someone for a coffee, lovely little place with great service. You can tell the owner takes time and care with what she does which is lovely. I personally didn’t have a coffee I had just a coke but the people I was with said the tea and coffee was lovely and it’s a proper bottle of coke I had which I love. Dog friendly which is always amazing, our little pooch had his own water bought out to him. Will definitely be coming here again when next in Margate.
Good food but small burgers for the price also they don’t sell chips/fries, which is a must for me when having a burger. The milkshakes weren’t quite thick enough and also kiddie sized!
The Greedy Cow is exactly what I expected of a seaside town in Kent. Hearty meals, friendly service, cozy atmosphere. Went for lunch, returned for breakfast the very next day. Vegan options available.
