I had spent a lot of my youth searching through the books here. Now it's a bar too! Highly recommend a visit.
Nice venue, nice beer and not overly pricey. Sensible Covid restrictions in place and an attentive bar person. Could not have wanted for anything better in a place that I am not that familiar with.
Really nice bar with a good selection of drinks. There hasn't been so much effort put into keeping up the book selection which is a bit odd, but that's part of the charm!

This place is ace. The bar man was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the beers, the pubs history and Broadstairs and the surrounding areas. If in Broadstairs again I will definitely go back.
Very good beer section based in an old Chapel, hence the name. They are affiliated to the Brew-dog company, and also carry a very eclectic collection of books to read or buy.
Nice atmosphere, beautiful log burner to keep the chill away, really makes the place homey. The books are an interesting feature and keep the conversation going. Can't comment on the alcohol but the hot chocolate was good!
Great place with a unique atmosphere and great craft beers.
